How to reach Bhimtal by Road

One can easily travel by car in 7 hrs to Bhimtal. All you have to do is follow this route: Start at ISBT road (3.79 kilometers) take NH 24 and continue towards Muradabad (153.11 kilometers), proceed towards Rampur (32 kilometers), turn towards Rudrapur on SH 87(47 kilometers), go straight towards Haldwani(32 kilometers) and last but not the least proceed towards Bhimtal on SH 37(25 kilometers).

Bhimtal is 21 kilometers from Kathgodam railway station. Kathgodam is 8 hours of train run from Sarai Rohella (Old Delhi). Two trains are directly available. Ranikhet Express leaves Delhi at 10.50 p.m. to reach Kathgodam at 6.15 a.m. (next morning). And the other one is Sampark Kranti, leaves Delhi at 3.30 p.m. to reach Kathgodam by 10.30 p.m. the same night.
